About the Organization

Do you want to contribute to the development of a socially important organization? We are now looking for an engaged operations controller who wants to lead our work with internal control and internal audit in a complex environment with significant impact!

The office function within Property, Support and Service (FFSS) supports both its own management and the Supply Management (FF) in operational and strategic matters.

The office consists of four units; Quality Case Coordination and Archive, Energy and Environment, Security, and IS/IT. Since 2025, both administrations have been certified according to ISO 14001.

About the Job

As an operations controller, you will be responsible for providing support to the administrations and the political committees regarding internal control, internal audit, and deviation management. This ensures that operations are conducted satisfactorily according to laws, regulations, and regional and administration-specific governance.

This means that as an operations controller, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and coordinating the work with internal control, from risk analysis and plan development to reporting results and following up on actions.
• Planning, coordinating, and reporting internal audits of the management systems of both administrations certified according to ISO 14001. This also involves leading and coordinating the audit group's work consisting of audit leaders and auditors from different parts of the organization.
• Supporting and developing the administrations' work with deviation management through, for example, knowledge-enhancing activities as well as analysis, follow-up, and reporting.

You will significantly contribute to the development of the administrations' working methods based on your areas of responsibility. Travel within the region is expected, and we primarily use public transport, but a driver's license is desirable. Placement at the region's house in Gothenburg.

About You

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in public administration, economics, law, political science, quality and operations development, or another education combined with relevant experience as assessed by the employer.

You have:

• Experience in independently planning, conducting, and reporting internal audits according to ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001.
• Experience working with internal control, from risk analysis to follow-up of actions.
• Experience leading and coordinating groups or teams and are confident in creating structure, clarity, and progress in joint assignments.
• Good ability to express yourself clearly and credibly in speech and writing, and to adapt your communication to employees, management groups, and political representatives.

It is an advantage if you have experience from working in a politically governed organization. Experience in improvement work, training initiatives, and deviation management is also desirable. As a person, you are analytical and structured with the ability to see both the big picture and details. You are driven and responsible, plan your work independently, and ensure that assignments are completed. You are curious and contribute to constructive collaboration. Experience in a publicly governed organization is also an advantage. Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
