We are now looking for an accounting economist with experience in controlling for a consulting assignment at a community-beneficial property company just outside Gothenburg.

This is a long-term full-time consulting assignment for approximately 18 months, starting as agreed.

In this role, you will have a broad responsibility within accounting and financial management and become an important part of ensuring high financial quality and providing relevant decision-making support to the organization. The assignment combines ongoing accounting with analysis, follow-up, and project monitoring related to investments.

• Working with ongoing bookkeeping, reporting, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensuring correct handling of property VAT, including deductibility, adjustments, and VAT reconciliations.
• Supporting the organization in matters related to accounting and financial routines.
• Managing and following up on projects related to new construction, renovation, and maintenance.
• Ensuring correct activation, classification, and accounting of investments in collaboration with the property economist.
• Participating in forecasting and follow-up of investments.
• Producing analyses, forecasts, and decision-making support.
• Monitoring financial goals and key figures.
• Participating in the budgeting and operational planning process.
• Contributing to the development of processes and routines for financial follow-up.

We are looking for someone with an academic background in finance or accounting, or equivalent work experience.

You have several years of experience in qualified accounting work with independent responsibility throughout the accounting chain and feel confident in driving the closing process from start to finish.

We expect you to have:

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Experience in closing work and the K3 regulations.
• Good knowledge of property VAT.
• Experience in project accounting.
• Good system proficiency and interest in digital working methods.
• Ability to communicate financial issues clearly and pedagogically.
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the property industry and/or from financial work in the public sector.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured with an analytical and solution-oriented approach. You are comfortable working independently but also enjoy collaborating with others.

You are communicative, pedagogical, and have an unpretentious attitude. Furthermore, you are quality-conscious and service-oriented, and feel comfortable in the role of supporting the organization in financial matters.

Your assignment takes place at the client company, but you can choose whether you want to work as a subcontractor with your own company or be a consultant directly employed by Fasticon. As an employed consultant, you are covered by a collective agreement, insurance, and occupational pension.
