Job Advertisement: Customer Service and Receptionist at KappAhl
Are you a student looking to combine your studies with a rewarding long-term part-time job? We are now seeking service-oriented students for a shared role in customer service and reception at KappAhl. Here, you will work in a high-performance environment with both customer contact and front desk responsibilities.
ABOUT THE POSITION
In the role we are now seeking for our client KappAhl, you will be an important part of their team, handling a wide variety of customer inquiries and reception tasks. You will support both KappAhl and Newbie, providing you with a versatile and developing everyday life in close collaboration with your colleagues. This is a consulting assignment through Academic Work where you will be employed as a consultant. The role is divided between Customer Support and Reception/Front desk, giving you a varied workday with both digital customer service and personal interaction on-site.
During the spring, you will work part-time alongside your studies, and then transition to full-time during the summer. You will be part of a team that works across several markets and brands within the KappAhl Group, where service, quality, and customer experience are the focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Tasks
In this role, you will work both with customer service and reception. Your main tasks include:
- Providing professional service to customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Following up on inquiries and ensuring prompt and quality handling according to set KPIs.
- Informing about current offers and promotions and contributing to sales.
- Working proactively to strengthen customer loyalty and reduce churn, including through membership work.
- Providing feedback to teams and internal departments to improve products, services, and work methods.
If you are responsible for the reception, the following tasks will occur:
- Welcoming and assisting visitors and employees in a professional and service-oriented manner.
- Managing access control, visitor registration, and security routines.
- Receiving mail and deliveries and keeping the reception area representative and functional.
- Supporting with other reception-related tasks as needed.
The role is shared, meaning that on some days you will work in customer service and on other days in reception – the distribution is governed by KappAhl's current needs.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has documented experience in service work with a strong customer focus.
- Is a student and has at least 2 years left of your post-secondary studies.
- Is available to work part-time during the spring and full-time during the summer.
- Has good system skills and enjoys working in multiple systems simultaneously.
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.
It is a merit if you have:
- Knowledge of Finnish, German, or Norwegian.
- Previous experience in retail.
- Experience in Customer Support.
