About the position

As the responsible salesperson at Element Optics, you are a key person in developing and driving the sales of the company's products in an international market. You work closely with the company's distributors worldwide and are responsible for developing business, strengthening relationships, and identifying new opportunities in both existing and new markets.

The role involves significant personal responsibility where you combine relationship-building sales with market analysis and business development. You collaborate closely with internal functions such as marketing, product development, and purchasing to ensure that customers and partners receive the right products, support, and conditions for success.

Please note that the position includes approximately 30–40 travel days per year, primarily to visit distributors in various markets and represent the company at trade shows and other marketing activities.



Your main responsibilities:
Sales and customer relationships
  • Actively develop relationships with existing distributors and identify new potential partners.
  • Identify customer needs and match them with the company's products and solutions.
  • Follow up on sales, analyze markets, and ensure that distributors have the right conditions to succeed, for example through marketing materials and product information.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations based on product specifications and usage areas.
  • Support customers and distributors with product training as needed.
  • Be responsible for creating and updating price lists for different customer groups.

Marketing & analysis
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on campaigns and strategies for both products and the brand.
  • Coordinate product launches in close dialogue with the marketing team and customers.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, competitions, and other industry-related activities.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts on a monthly basis.
  • Follow market developments and analyze competitors and their product offerings.
  • Contribute insights regarding the company's strengths and areas for development in the market.

The position is full-time, and work is primarily conducted during daytime hours. You will have the freedom to plan your workday based on the needs of the business. Since the role involves contact with international customers and distributors, working hours may need to be adjusted periodically according to different time zones.

You will be offered employment by Element Optics with an immediate start or according to agreement.



Your profile

We are looking for an experienced salesperson, where a personal interest in hunting or shooting sports is highly meritorious, as it provides a natural understanding of customer needs, the products, and their applications. We prefer that you have experience working with distributors and a good understanding of how to build and develop brands together with partners in various markets.

To succeed, you are self-driven and confident in your role as a salesperson and thrive with freedom under responsibility. You are structured and meticulous in your work and take responsibility by being driven, innovative, solution-oriented, and unpretentious.

As a person, you are outgoing and social, with the ability to see opportunities in your surroundings. Thanks to your courage, you dare to try new things and take the initiative for improvements.

Since you will belong to a small but close-knit team, it is essential to be a good listener, open, and able to collaborate and help in all situations.



Other requirements for the position:
  • Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English
  • Good computer skills; experience with Monitor is a plus
  • Driver's license and the ability to commute to the workplace
