Do you want to help develop the future of social services in Gothenburg? We are now looking for a development-oriented financial controller for the Social Administration Nordost.

As a financial controller with us, you will be involved in developing the Social Administration Nordost. We are an administration with significant challenges, which gives you great opportunities to influence and make a difference for those we serve. You will be part of the finance unit with five colleagues, where we work together to provide the best financial support for the operations. Together with our three administrative managers and our departmental colleagues, we form the finance department in Nordost.

You will independently be responsible for financial work towards one or more operational departments. You will be part of your department's management team and are expected to contribute both to strategic and operational issues. The assignment also includes contributing to the internal development work of the finance unit with certain overarching administrative tasks. In the finance department, we have a well-functioning collaboration and a non-prestigious approach to each other.

Qualifications

For this position, it is a requirement that you have a bachelor's degree in economics at the university level (180 credits) or a bachelor's degree in public administration, preferably with a focus on economics (180 credits). You have experience in planning and follow-up or other qualified financial experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. You should also have experience in supporting managers with financial planning.

It is advantageous if you have experience with any of the following systems: Visma Proceedo, Unit4 Agresso, or Hypergene. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with or in a social services administration.

In the role of financial controller, it is required that you are skilled at collaborating with others and that you understand the core mission of the operations, prioritize based on that, and contribute to the whole. You have the ability to communicate in a pedagogical manner and can adapt communication according to the recipient and situation.

You can see connections and draw conclusions based on financial data and other operational information. Furthermore, you suggest constructive measures to contribute to good financial management and cost-effective operations within the administration.

You take responsibility for your department and feel confident in independently performing your tasks and driving our joint processes forward. The work requires that you can handle the stress that may arise during certain periods when we have a higher workload.
