As a Trade Project Manager at Swedac, you contribute to the development of our trade promotion efforts. You develop initiatives within trade promotion, focusing on the needs of Swedish companies for effective quality infrastructure in trade with other countries.
The workplace is either in Borås, where the authority's office is located, or in Stockholm, where Swedac currently has three employees with office spaces in the Growth Agency's premises near Medborgarplatsen. The position involves extensive travel, both between locations and internationally.
About the role
In this role, you work to strengthen Swedish trade by developing and utilizing quality infrastructure as a strategic tool. You collaborate closely with the business community, analyze company needs, and contribute expertise both in Sweden and internationally.
Your main responsibilities
- Drive trade promotion initiatives related to quality infrastructure.
- Build and develop relationships with Swedish companies engaged in international operations.
- Analyze how quality infrastructure can be used to promote trade.
- Contribute Swedac's expertise to authorities, foreign authorities, and international collaborations.
- Participate in international initiatives and smaller projects that promote Swedish trade.

Organizationally, you belong to the unit for international development cooperation and trade, department for authority development and service, which consists of three units.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a field deemed relevant by the employer.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Experience working with Swedish companies' value chains and promoting improved conditions for trade.
- Experience in regulation and compliance is an advantage.
- Experience working in the private sector, particularly in international trade, is an advantage.
- Experience in working with quality infrastructure is an advantage.
- Experience with business cultures in different parts of the world is an advantage.
