This is your mission

As the Security Police is a security service with police powers, it is part of the authority's mission to investigate crimes. The crimes investigated by the Security Police mainly concern offenses against Sweden's security, terrorist crimes, and crimes against individuals in the central government.

As an operational administrator within investigations and immigration matters, you will work alongside engaged colleagues. You support each other and together contribute to the development of the organization. Helping your colleagues is a given for you.

During a workday, you will switch between various tasks, such as formulating and preparing decisions, handling referrals, being responsible for different types of bookings, and managing incoming emails and documents as well as taking minutes. You provide administrative support to the organization and resolve arising questions. A large part of your work is performed in case management systems where you register, review, prioritize, and distribute cases.

Other tasks vary depending on the assignment, for example, support to management, investigative support, and working in police operational activities such as logging, handling seizures, and providing administrative support during operations.

The job also includes actively contributing to the development and improvement of routines and working methods, for example, by creating templates and checklists that both you and your colleagues can rely on in your work.

In this role, work during uncomfortable hours and weekends may occur, as well as being on standby. Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means that you cannot work remotely. Travel within and outside Sweden may occur.

The qualifications we are looking for in you

• Completed upper secondary education with approved results
• At least two years of experience in administrative tasks as a primary occupation in recent years
• Good experience using a computer as a working tool, including the Office package
• Experience in tasks that require structure and order
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written

The position requires Swedish citizenship.

• Experience in case management and digital case management systems
• Experience from working in a government agency or other public sector
• Experience in operations with high security requirements
• Experience in the areas of the Security Police's operations
• Experience from crime-fighting legal areas
• Experience in preliminary investigation support
• Experience in handling seizures
• Experience in managing cases related to immigration law/background within the Migration Agency
• Experience in statistics and follow-up
• Experience in working as management support
• Familiarity with working in a technology-rich environment
• Driver's license, at least category B

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police means placement in a security class. Employment also requires an approved result in the security review with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
