About Us

At the Community Building Administration in Solna, approximately 65 people work, of which eleven are in the administrative department.

Within the department, we provide support to the rest of the administration in areas such as registration, project management, and business development.

We are now in need of an engaged and curious registrar

We are centrally located in Solna center with good public transport. We view positively that employees are given the opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week where the operations allow.

What does the job entail?

As a registrar, your responsibility is to handle the registration of incoming and created documents and to provide documents upon request. The work is exclusively performed for the Building Committee, which means it concerns documents related to building permits and detailed plans, which are the most common. The work can be performed both on-site and remotely, but three days a week, it is expected that you will generally be on-site.

This position also includes the role of systems specialist for our case management system Nova, which we introduced last year.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • completed a three-year high school education
  • at least three years of experience as a registrar
  • good system skills
  • knowledge of document registration in municipal administration.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • education as a registrar or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • education relevant to the role of systems specialist
  • experience in registration within building permits
  • experience in the role of systems specialist
  • experience working in Nova
  • knowledge in system management.

You want to influence, but you also thrive in the part of the assignment that is similar every day. You have previous experience as a systems specialist or superuser and find it enjoyable and developing to work with operations, user permissions, and the development of IT systems.

As a person, you are self-driven, enjoy problem-solving, and are guided by goal-oriented and results-oriented thinking in planning and action. You are service-oriented and communicate clearly. With a holistic view, you take into account the larger perspective, understand your role, and consider the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions. The role places high demands on your ability to create structure and accuracy. You enjoy taking your own initiatives and look forward to holding the threads for development in our case management system.
