Economics Student Wanted for Part-Time Assignment in Real Estate Sector

ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client was founded in 1986 in Sweden. Since then, the company has expanded in the Nordic region, with Sweden, Finland, and Norway as its main markets. The company's goal is to help its clients, which include large companies, the public sector, or institutional actors, to free up capital that is tied up in real estate. This is done by the company purchasing the client's property and then leasing it back to the client through a long-term lease agreement.
In this role, you will belong to the finance department, which consists of 7 people. You will work closely with both colleagues in the finance department and those responsible for customer accounts. Currently, a total of 35 people work at the Stockholm office.
This is a consulting assignment via us at Academic Work with a start of 6 months. If all parties are satisfied with the collaboration, there are good chances for extension. You also have the opportunity to work more than 50% during the summer.
This position requires you to be able to work at least 2 days a week.
You will be offered a flexible and educational part-time job as a consultant via Academic Work. Our client applies a flexible office policy, which means that the majority of the work should take place on-site at the centrally located office in Stockholm, but you have the opportunity to work some hours remotely.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary purpose of the position is to manage accounts payable, where you and a colleague handle the entire flow.
- Manage supplier invoices such as scanning, coding, and approval
- Create payment files
- If time permits, also assist with accounts receivable
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Is studying economics at a university or vocational school and has at least 2 years left of studies
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as this is used daily in the work
- Has good system skills
It is advantageous if you have previous work experience in a similar position and all the tasks mentioned.
