Temporary Lawyer Wanted at LF Uppsala

LF Uppsala is now looking for a temporary lawyer who wants to work closely with the business and operate in several areas of law. Your Future Tasks

As a lawyer at LF Uppsala, you will have the opportunity to develop, contribute to the business goals, and ensure good regulatory compliance. You will provide ongoing support within the framework of the company's overarching contract and procurement process together with your colleagues. A central part of the role is to draft, review, and revise contracts, often within outsourced operations and ICT services. You will develop and administer governing documents, coordinate efforts to identify and manage conflicts of interest, and maintain contacts with central functions and authorities. The role also includes preparing and documenting meetings in one of the company's committees.

In the group, you will collaborate with lawyers, procurement specialists, security officers, and investigation inspectors. Primarily, you will work with insurance business regulation, data protection, contract law, and corporate law.

The position is a parental leave cover until May 2027. You will work in our beautiful office premises centrally located in Uppsala at Muningatan 1.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a structured and analytical colleague with a law degree and the ability to see the big picture, understand new perspectives, and challenge existing ways of working. You are used to independently driving cases from start to finish and find it easy to explain complex legal matters in a pedagogical way. For you, it is natural to be proactive, trustworthy, and maintain high quality in your work. Collaboration with other competencies and groups comes naturally to you.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience working in a legal function within the insurance sector, law firm, authority, or equivalent.
• Experience in contract work and supplier relationships, preferably with a focus on IT services.
