JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Operations Manager for Waste, you have overall operational responsibility for the waste management operations, but no personnel responsibility. The role is not a managerial position but a qualified specialist and leadership function with significant authority within the operations. You report to the waste manager and are responsible for planning, steering, and developing the operational activities. The role includes extended powers in finance as well as the mandate to make decisions regarding tasks, steering documents, procurements, and priorities within the operations.

Your responsibilities include: The municipality's waste management regulations and steering documents, the Recycling Park, the municipality's urea facility, and presenting cases to the political body.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications We are looking for someone who has:

• very good competence in the waste area
• relevant higher education/other training
• experience in operational management, finance, and decision-making
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, as well as present cases to the political body
• experience in municipal or public operations is an advantage

Personal qualities You are structured, analytical, and confident in your expertise. You work independently, take responsibility for the whole, and enjoy collaborating with others.
