Håbo Municipality is looking for an experienced HR Partner

Håbo Municipality is looking for an experienced HR Partner who wants to contribute to a legally secure and proactive approach to employer issues.

The role has a clear focus on negotiations and wage formation and is suitable for you who want to work both strategically and operationally in an organization where HR makes a real difference.

About the workplace

With us, you will have a varied and developing job where you, together with engaged colleagues, create good conditions for the municipality's leaders and employees. One of the municipal council's goals for the mandate period is for Håbo Municipality to be an attractive employer, which means that employer issues play a central role in the municipality.

The HR unit currently consists of eight HR partners, one HR administrator, and one HR manager. One of our HR partners is moving to another location, and we are therefore looking for a new colleague. The unit is part of the municipal management administration and has the task of supporting the entire municipality in all HR processes.

We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.

Your tasks

In the role of HR partner with a focus on negotiations and wage formation, you have a key role in the municipality's employer issues. Your main focus is to drive and coordinate the municipality-wide work with salary reviews and wage formation and to support managers in negotiation and labor law issues.

The work includes, among other things:

  • Application and interpretation of legislation as well as central and local collective agreements
  • Qualified support and advice to managers in labor law and employer policy issues
  • Negotiations, collaboration, and dialogue with trade unions
  • Support and knowledge sharing with colleagues in the unit
  • Participation in development and change work
  • Implementation of training initiatives, workshops, and similar forums

You will work with both strategic and operational issues of varying scope and complexity, where you alternate between independent work and collaboration with colleagues. You keep yourself updated on what is happening in the outside world, e.g., legislative changes, directives, and investigations in the field of labor law.

You plan your work based on the needs of the operations. You are guided by goals and results, but sometimes changing conditions may mean that you need to reprioritize and adapt your working methods.

We value good relationships with managers, HR colleagues, other colleagues in the municipality, and external parties. Everything we do is done with the municipality's best interests in mind.

We are looking for an HR partner with the following qualifications:

  • Education from HR/Personnel programs, labor law, law, or other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent.
  • Several years of relevant experience in qualified work with labor law and employer policy issues.
  • Experience working with labor law and negotiations, preferably in the public sector.
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good IT skills where you work comfortably in Office365.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and enjoy leading workshops.

We are looking for you who

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to work both independently and in close collaboration with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is structured, self-driven, and goal-oriented, with high integrity and good analytical skills.

You have a strategic approach, are proactive, and adapt your response according to the situation and recipient. You express yourself well in speech and writing and contribute to a good collaborative climate.

We also see that you have good teamwork skills, where you show commitment, take responsibility for the whole, and meet others with care and professionalism.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Probationary employment may be applied.

In this recruitment, we have replaced the personal letter with a number of questions. Please attach your CV and answer the questions.

Welcome with your application!
