About the Company

Tierp Arena is a modern multi-arena for motorsports and other sports as well as events. Tierp Arena also offers a range of traffic safety and driver training, among other things. The facility, which measures 182 hectares with our Arena area, is located in Tierp, halfway between Uppsala and Gävle, only a 1-hour train ride from Stockholm.

The arena is built on a former airbase, known for its world-class drag racing track with a capacity for 22,000 spectators. Within the modern facility, there are also opportunities for conferences and larger events. The arena offers both drag racing (EM/SM), circuit racing, rallycross track, off-road track, ATV track, etc.

The arena offers conferences, corporate activities, training, accommodation through its own hotel, and also its own restaurant operations.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Controller/Finance Manager, you will be the CEO's closest financial support and a key person in the arena's continued development. You will be responsible for ongoing accounting, invoicing, follow-up, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial management, and payroll administration.

The position is a part-time position at 75%, and the location is Gävle.

Your Main Responsibilities:

- Ongoing accounting and invoicing.

- Ongoing analysis of results and key figures per business area.

- Follow-up of revenues, costs, profitability, and cash flow.

- Monthly reporting and presentations to the CEO and board.

- Preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.

- Scenario planning and calculations before and after control for events,

Training, larger activities, investments, and other business initiatives.

- Quality assurance of purchase prices and internal pricing.

- Preparation of decision-making materials and support in strategic work.

- Development of reports, routines, and financial models.

- Continuous contact with Stenhaga properties' finance department.

Your Profile

We are looking for a confident and experienced controller with broad expertise in accounting, financial management, and business analysis. You thrive in an independent role where you own your processes and can easily prioritize in a part-time position.

You are structured, self-driven, and confident in your skills. You can communicate financial information clearly and pedagogically and see the big picture in the business. The role requires integrity, business focus, and a strong commitment to driving development.

You have good experience working closely with management and being able to make independent decisions.

We see that you have:

- 7–10 years of experience as a controller, business controller, or finance manager.

- Strong analytical skills and experience working with budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

- Experience working closely with the CEO or management.

- Ability to create clear insights and recommendations.

- Good system skills and strong Excel skills.

- Great organization and order in your work.

- A winning attitude and many contacts that you will deal with in your new daily role.

Meritorious:

- Experience from event, arena, hospitality, restaurant, or seasonal-based operations.

- Experience in project or event follow-up.

- Experience creating key figure models and financial management tools.

- Experience in payroll administration.
