If you want to develop and contribute to the development of Region Uppsala - welcome to work with us!
Our Operations
The HR unit within Region Uppsala is led by the HR director and consists of approximately 150 employees. The unit is organized into functional areas: Operational Support, HR Center, Work Environment and Health, Law and Agreements, and Competence and Leadership. The HR team at Akademiska sjukhuset is now looking for an HR partner with a focus on work environment.
Akademiska sjukhuset is one of Sweden's leading university hospitals, employing around 9000 people. In addition to its role as a county hospital, Akademiska sjukhuset provides highly specialized care and serves two million people in central Sweden.
Your Mission
We now want to strengthen our HR team with an HR partner who has specific knowledge and experience in work environment. Together with other HR partners and HR administrators, you will be part of the team that provides operational HR support to managers at Akademiska sjukhuset. Our over 20 HR partners are responsible for one or more operational areas and are tasked with supporting management with competence supply, personnel matters, labor law issues, rehabilitation, salary formation, collaboration, and systematic work environment efforts.
As an HR partner with a functional assignment in work environment, you will spend part of your time as an HR partner. In the other part of the assignment, you will have a central and strategically important role in further developing the hospital's work environment efforts. You will act as specialist support to both managers and HR colleagues and contribute to ensuring a systematic, sustainable, and operationally relevant work environment effort in a complex and knowledge-intensive healthcare environment.
Your assignment includes - in close collaboration with the hospital's management, managers, trade unions, and the region's work environment specialists - developing, implementing, and following up processes and methods within the systematic work environment efforts (SAM). The focus of the role is to build structures for the hospital's work to strengthen managers' ability for preventive and health-promoting work environment efforts.
An important part of the assignment is also to act as a knowledge bearer, development resource, and contact person regarding work environment within the HR organization. You will conduct training and support other HR colleagues. To some extent, you will also assist in producing statistics and reports regarding the hospital's work in the work environment.
Your Qualifications
- University or college degree with a social science focus; preferably in human resources or other education that the employer deems equivalent or relevant for the position.
- At least five years of experience in qualified HR work.
- Extensive experience in work environment efforts; for example, through a previous specialist role, own managerial experience, or senior HR roles.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in HR work within the healthcare sector is an advantage. Likewise, if you have an understanding of and previous experience working in a politically governed organization.
Personal Qualities
You are a confident and stable person motivated to work independently. At the same time, you value being part of a team and contribute to creating an open and unpretentious collaborative climate. You take responsibility for your tasks and are used to structuring your work independently. You actively work with the challenges that arise and identify and implement solutions. You understand your role and have the courage to act, considering the larger perspective and the best interests of the organization when prioritizing and making decisions.
Furthermore, we see that you are a communicative person who relates to others in an open and attentive manner. Given the nature of the work, it is important that you have the ability to adapt both your approach and communication based on who you are interacting with. You are comfortable speaking in front of groups and conducting training. You have good self-awareness and distinguish between personal and professional aspects in your work.
In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the position.
