About the Position
We are looking for an administrator for the Swedish Armed Forces Alarm Center, whose task is to support the management team with both administrative and practical tasks.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of administrator, you will be part of the FMLC management team and have the important function of holding, coordinating, and completing various tasks to support and relieve the rest of the management team. As an administrator in the department, you have a coordinating role that means you are the spider in the web and an important link between FMLC and other departments within the unit and other functions that FMLC depends on. You are responsible for planning and executing various activities from unit level down to section level and also for ensuring that tasks are completed and reported within the specified timeframe. The role also includes substituting as an alarm operator (Training will take place after the probation period).
Qualifications
- 3-year high school education.
- Very good knowledge of Excel and other Office applications.
- Previous experience in administrative work.
- Swedish citizenship and fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Manual B driver's license.
Meritorious
- Experience working in the Armed Forces.
- Signal protection training.
- Good knowledge of using FM internal systems such as Emilia, VIDAR, and PRIO.
- Experience working with classified documentation.
Personal Qualities
You have a pronounced sense of order and structure while being flexible. You are solution-oriented with a good ability to independently find the way to drive tasks towards a set goal. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and interacting with people in a positive manner is second nature to you. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
About the Organization
The Swedish Armed Forces' telecommunications and information systems unit, FMTIS, ensures the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead - around the clock, year-round. The unit has a collective responsibility for the Armed Forces' technical command systems that support military operations at sea, on land, and in the air - in Sweden and abroad. The Operations Unit (DriftE), which is one of 12 units within FMTIS, is responsible for exercising the function of the Armed Forces' network operator, monitoring and managing problems and incidents, and performing maintenance and remote troubleshooting measures in the Armed Forces' IT and telecommunications systems. DriftE is divided into 8 departments, of which FMLC is one.
The Department
The Swedish Armed Forces Alarm Center is part of the Operations Unit and conducts alarm monitoring for the Armed Forces' particularly prioritized objects and materials. - Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probation period for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
