Are you good at explaining statistics in a simple, pedagogical, and concise manner? Do you want to help coordinate the work with monitoring and developing indicators? Then this might be the job for you!
Job Responsibilities
In the role of analyst with a focus on statistics, you will contribute to decision-making matters for the labor market committee by ensuring that the right and appropriate statistics are used to provide good and accurate decision support. Statistics, indicators, and key figures at a management-wide level are central elements in the work of monitoring the various operations and reporting their results to the committee.
You need to stay updated within the committee's areas of operation to understand how the needs for statistics change and have a good orientation in the Kolada database, as well as understand the implications of changes both in the database and in our operations. A central task for the unit for investigation and preparation is the planning work for upcoming Goals and budget, as well as the committee's operational plan to implement the municipal council's assignments and give the politicians impact. In the work of developing proposals for the operational plan, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure that measures and goals can be followed up as well and efficiently as possible.
Your tasks include coordinating the work in the administration with monitoring and developing indicators, ensuring that values are reported on time, identifying vulnerabilities, proposing solutions, and increasing automation in monitoring.
Other tasks may include conducting and participating in investigations, compiling and gathering information in response to inquiries from, for example, the municipal management office, producing materials needed by management for planning or meeting contexts, or answering a political question.
The assignments you will work on will vary in both content and timeframes. Some issues must be resolved quickly, while others have a longer preparation time. Therefore, it is important that you recognize and capture what is sometimes urgent and prioritize among your assignments. You will present matters to the labor market committee and for the management group of the administration. You need to tailor these presentations to the audience and summarize central content in complex issues in a simple and pedagogical manner.
Other tasks may be added based on competence and time.
