Your mission with usAs a damage coordinator, you will play a central role in the work of limiting and addressing damages in our properties, both in rental apartments and common areas. You will be responsible for the damage case all the way, from inspection and investigation to restoration and final inspection. Throughout the process, you will be the main contact for the tenant.
The role combines practical work in the properties with administrative and financial coordination. You will project manage restoration efforts, follow up with contractors, and ensure that documentation, orders, and follow-ups are handled in our property management system. In your contact with tenants, colleagues, contractors, and insurance companies, quality, clarity, and customer satisfaction are always in focus.
You will work with damages for District East but will have close collaboration with damage coordinators in other districts. If necessary, you may also support colleagues within District East with other cases.
Examples of tasks
Inspection and planning for restoration
Coordination of damage restoration and follow-up of damages, including finance and administration.
Final inspection and quality assurance
Support for property managers and the rest of the organization regarding building technical issues.
Contact with tenants and insurance companies, including recourse management
Work preventively to reduce damage outcomes over time.
High school or post-secondary education, preferably in construction, electrical, or HVAC
Several years of experience in construction or property technology
Experience as a supervisor or project manager (meritorious)
Swedish spoken and written
Driver's license B
We are looking for someone with a technical background and a genuine interest in properties, construction technology, and damage management. You have several years of experience in the construction or property industry and are used to leading projects, making decisions, and working closely with both contractors and tenants. You have good knowledge of building physics, installation technology, and investigation methodology. You are also comfortable with contract, rental, and insurance law.
You are a structured and solution-oriented person with a good ability to handle many tasks simultaneously. You are confident in your role, communicate clearly, and easily build trust through a professional and service-oriented approach.
