The management office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The management office is led by the regional director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the management office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations so that the political direction is reflected in the region's various activities. Our Operations

The Health and Medical Care Department at the management office of Region Uppsala supports the political leadership to achieve the goals for health and medical care, benefiting residents and patients. Within the Care Assignment Unit, about 20 employees work with operational support, investigations, development work, care procurements, and follow-ups. Here, you will meet colleagues with broad expertise in medicine, mental health, insurance medicine, social sciences, and economics.

Your Assignment

As an investigator/project manager, you will be part of the management group of the Care Assignment Unit and take on a strategic role with responsibility for investigations and development projects within health and medical care, focusing on care agreements, mental health, and insurance medicine. The role also involves contributing to the unit management's work by providing support in planning and follow-up when needed, with an emphasis on investigation, analysis, project management, and development.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Investigations: Conduct and lead assignments and investigations within mental health, insurance medicine, and other care areas. Prepare decision-making materials and analyze the effects of measures.
  • Project Management: Drive development projects and coordinate efforts that enhance quality and efficiency in care assignments.
  • Contract Responsibility: A part of the position may involve responsibility for contracts according to LOU or LOV.
  • Management Support: Contribute with analysis and materials to the management group as needed.

We Are Looking For You Who

  • Has a relevant university degree and at least five years of experience in similar tasks.
  • Is analytical, structured, and accustomed to handling complex information.
  • Has experience in investigative work, project management, and follow-up.
  • Has excellent ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
  • Experience working in public operations, preferably in the health and medical care sector at a comprehensive level.
