Your New Job

We offer you the opportunity to meet our wonderful students daily and teach them in core subjects within the Electrical and Energy Program. Together with us, you will create environments that promote students' learning and knowledge development and actively participate in the school's development work. You will also be part of the school's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school management, and other school staff. You will also work closely with the industries in our region that our programs target, visit students at their APL (workplace-based learning), and conduct follow-ups. Together with colleagues, you will create contacts and develop long-term cooperation with the industry.

You will be an important part of Bäckadalsgymnasiet's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school management, and other school staff in the school's development work. Like other teachers at the school, you will work closely with the students through mentorship.

Your Competence

We prefer that you are a qualified vocational teacher with good competence in the field of electrical and energy, focusing on electrical engineering. It is an advantage if you have knowledge in automation or energy technology as well as experience from the industry or teaching at the high school level. If you are not yet a qualified vocational teacher, we would like you to be willing to obtain the qualification.

As a person, you are responsible, social, and flexible. You have an interest in being involved in developing the pedagogical activities with a focus on teaching and students' learning. You have good communication skills with students and guardians and a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and their different conditions for doing so. You also have good pedagogical experience/ability and find it easy to collaborate. In the role of teacher, you need to be meticulous and have the ability to take overall responsibility. Patience, creativity, and joy in work are good qualities to have when applying for this position. Your ability to engage and motivate students is highly valued, as is your flexibility and solution-oriented approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A prerequisite for the position is that you hold a B driver's license.
