Description
At Ekenskolan, we have two teachers in the middle school who will be on parental leave starting in May, and we therefore need to hire substitute teachers for grades 4 and 5.
The position is currently vacant until December 2026, but it may be extended into the spring of 2027.
Ekenskolan has two classes in each grade, and three teachers share the responsibility for teaching. You will work with students in whole-class instruction, but also in smaller groups and sometimes individually.
You will be part of a team that collectively leads and develops the educational work towards the goals in the curriculum. The position is adapted based on the school's and students' needs and your qualifications. You are well-versed in the governing documents and plan your teaching accordingly. You have a strong interest in using modern technology in teaching. In Gislaveds municipality, we use tablets as a natural part of the educational work in primary school.

Responsibilities
You will be part of a team in grades 4-6. Together with the team, you will drive and develop the operations based on the curriculum and governing documents.
Qualifications
You are a certified primary school teacher with a focus on middle school. You need to be solution-oriented, flexible, and able to plan according to the different needs of students and the organization. You should be able to take initiative, want to collaborate, and be stress-resistant and attentive.

The position will be filled based on necessary decisions being made. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
