Your new job

We are now looking for a teacher in visual arts and crafts who wants to help create a creative, exploratory, and meaningful learning environment at Alfred Dalinskolan. Here, you have a unique opportunity to work broadly with aesthetic expressions and design teaching that sparks curiosity, inspires creativity, and challenges students to think in new ways. As a teacher with us, you will plan lessons in close collaboration with subject colleagues to create equitable, high-quality education. Through shared structures, clear goals, and active collegial learning, we strive to provide every student with the best possible knowledge development. You will be part of a team and serve as a mentor for a group of students – an important role where you build good relationships, maintain regular contact with students and guardians, and follow students' development in a safe and professional manner. Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with a teaching license and authorization in one of the craft subjects as well as visual arts for grades 7–9. We also welcome those who have not yet obtained their teaching license or are in the final stages of their education and have the appropriate subject authorization. You preferably have experience working in a multicultural school and see, just as we do, diversity as a natural strength that enriches teaching and opens up new perspectives. You use digital technology with ease and creativity, making it an integral part of your teaching. As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and take responsibility for your own development. You have a flexible approach, the courage to take initiative, and meet students with a positive and solution-focused attitude. You build relationships that make a real difference – relationships that create security, spark a desire to learn, and contribute to students' development both academically and personally. In the team, you are an important team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.

Good to know

Before hiring new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license. Therefore, we ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
