Furulund School in Mariannelund is Eksjö municipality's only F-9 school. Our school has about 60 staff and approximately 260 students. We are located in the center of Mariannelund, yet close to nature, and the entire school is gathered around the same schoolyard. We have three working teams: F-6, 7-9 & after-school care.

Our student health team includes special educators, school psychologists, school nurses, school counselors, and the principal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and secure teacher for our resource group, Studion, for students in grades 7-9 who need extra support in their schooling. Studion is a smaller teaching environment focused on adaptation, structure, and relationship-building.

You will be an important part of a team that works closely with student health to create the best possible conditions for each student. Students in Studion may have parts of their teaching or entire days in Studion depending on their adapted study paths and action plans.

As a teacher in Studion, you will plan and conduct teaching in various subjects based on students' needs. Planning is done in collaboration with responsible subject teachers. You will work with clear structure and individual adaptations. You will collaborate with subject teachers, student health, and guardians. You will contribute to a safe and inclusive climate in the group. You have the ability to build good relationships with your students.

You will be part of our special education team F-9, which consists of special educators and special teachers, where we together create a coherent approach to special education throughout Furulund School F-9.

You will be part of the student health team and participate in preventive and health-promoting work so that all students in the school receive adequate support.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher for the upper secondary level, special teacher, or special educator. We prefer that you are qualified in mathematics and/or Swedish, as well as additional subjects.

Previous experience in teaching in a resource group, special education group, or resource school is an advantage.

Training in low-arousal approaches, MI, ART, or similar is also an advantage.
