Your New Job

We are expanding Dalvik School's special team and are looking for a special educator who wants to work with special education colleagues, the student health team, all teachers at the school, and school management! We are seeking a qualified special educator who also preferably has good knowledge and a solid experience base in special education tasks. You are confident in working with both pedagogical investigations and providing the special support that students need. The work with safety is central at our school and therefore an important part of your job.

At Dalvik School, you will meet super friendly colleagues! Dalvik School is a F-6 school with about 300 students and 45 employees. The school is located on the heights of Jönköping and offers a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Vättern and the city. Here, you will find lovely environments with forests, waterways, and hills in immediate proximity to the school. Employees, students, guardians, and interns at the school testify to a good working environment where well-being and safety characterize the spirit of the unit. Dalvik School is a VFU school, which means we regularly host students from Jönköping University.

We work to ensure that students reach the peak of their potential, according to their own abilities. To enable students to reach that point, we need employees who can motivate and stimulate students' curiosity and have high expectations of their ability to develop. We work around the student with a holistic perspective where they should feel safety, joy, responsibility, and independence, providing a solid foundation for knowledge acquisition. Your Competence: You are a trained special educator, but also preferably have competence in special education tasks. You are good at building relationships with your students and have a genuine interest in them. You are a leader in the classroom and work with an accessible learning environment where safety and structure are central to meet students where they are. You are also accustomed to developing skills, mentoring, and supporting teachers in their work with students and student groups. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Before we hire new employees in teaching positions, it is important to ensure that the teaching license is valid. Therefore, we ask you who are applying for the position to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
