Your new job

We are now looking for someone who wants to help develop the operations at Ribbaskolan's after-school care together with us. As a teacher in after-school care, you will play an important role in creating a safe and educational environment for our students. The role includes both work in the after-school care and collaboration with the school during the school day. You will be part of one of our after-school care departments in primary school, where we work closely together and collaborate between departments to create a cohesive everyday life for the students. As a teacher in after-school care, you will meet the students throughout the day – during school hours as well as in the morning and afternoon in after-school care.

In the role of teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for the educational work in after-school care and create meaningful activities that relate to the curriculum goals and the primary school's mission. By planning, implementing, and following up on the operations, you contribute to providing students with the opportunity to learn in creative ways and apply their knowledge in practice. You have a holistic perspective on the students' development and learning and actively work to ensure that after-school care is a valuable complement to the school day. With a focus on strengthening students' social skills and self-confidence, you create a safe and stimulating environment where every student can grow. You build trusting collaborations with students, guardians, and colleagues, and promote a good learning environment that meets students' needs during their leisure time.

Ribbaskolan is a primary school (F-6) in Gränna with about 250 students. We have nice, functional premises in a beautiful and inspiring environment, between Grännaberget and Lake Vättern. Ribbaskolan also has after-school care.

Ribbaskolan is located in an area rich in culture, leisure activities, and nature experiences, which provides the best conditions for a pleasant school environment.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with a teaching license for work in after-school care, or you who are at the end of your teacher education or have not yet obtained a license. You have a good understanding of the primary school's mission and its governing documents, and you work based on these with confidence and commitment. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in after-school care or school. You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and have basic IT skills that support your educational work.

Good to know

Before hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license. Therefore, we ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
