Ramkvilla School is now looking for a teacher for grades 1-2 – preferably with a broad subject qualification in Swedish, English, Mathematics, Science, and Technology.

With us, you will be part of a team of knowledgeable and committed colleagues who share thoughts, ideas, and experiences. You will plan and implement teaching in your subjects and create good conditions for learning, motivation, and safety. You will follow up on students' development, document, and maintain a lively dialogue with both students and guardians.

Ramkvilla School is beautifully located by Lake Klockesjön in the heart of the community. Approximately 65 students attend the school from preschool to grade six. The school is characterized by closeness and community, where each student is seen, and together we create a safe and developing environment. We also have a wonderful schoolyard with both asphalt and grass areas that provide great opportunities for play, movement, and community.

The role includes documenting and following up on students' development as well as maintaining a close dialogue with both students and guardians.

As a new teacher in Vetlanda Municipality, you will receive a mentor – an experienced colleague who acts as both a guide and a sounding board.

We are looking for you who are a confident leader - attentive and empathetic, with a communicative and reflective approach. You create engagement and participation, see opportunities rather than obstacles, and meet students with respect and warmth. Through good relationships, you guide them and handle conflicts constructively.

The position is a temporary contract until March 6, 2027, with the possibility of extension. Start date is March 9, 2026, and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• We primarily seek you who are a certified teacher qualified to teach in grades F-3. Preferably with broad subject qualifications in Swedish, English, Mathematics, Science, and Technology.
• Previous professional experience as a teacher is an advantage.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
