Your New Job
Your main task as a teacher in after-school care is to stimulate students' learning and development and to offer them a meaningful leisure time. Teaching is based on the students' needs, interests, and experiences, and they are given the opportunity to be challenged to new discoveries. Together with your colleagues in after-school care, you have the primary responsibility to ensure that the teaching meets the requirements of the operational goals and governing documents.
Your role includes establishing good contact with colleagues, students, and guardians. You collaborate with colleagues in after-school care and school to provide students with support and good conditions for success.
The after-school care operations at Fagerslätt School are planned and conducted by a team of licensed after-school teachers with high competence, along with lead teachers in after-school care.

Fagerslätt School is a newly built F-6 school located on the heights of Huskvarna. In the surrounding area, we have good access to forests and land that we can utilize for teaching, play, and recreation. At Fagerslätt School, we have a holistic view and a shared responsibility for ensuring that all our students feel safe and can develop.

Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with a teaching license for work in after-school care. If you have not yet received your license or are nearing the end of your education, you are also welcome to apply. Experience working in after-school care and grades F-6 is an advantage.
You have a solid understanding of the primary school's mission and governing documents and use your skills to create a safe and learning environment. You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and possess basic IT skills that support your work.
As a person, you are creative and committed to building an inclusive school culture where everyone feels welcome. You are confident and stable in your professional role, have an easy time collaborating, and create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
