Your New Job

We are looking for a new colleague for grades 4-6. You will be part of a team and will teach at the middle school level. The team includes experienced colleagues. Together with the team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching in a way that is based on a holistic view of the student and their needs, in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the educational content of the teaching.
• Independently plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in the classroom.
• Map students' knowledge levels and document their development.
• Ensure that education is conducted according to the curriculum and other governing documents.
• Improve teaching together with the team or teaching colleagues.
• Develop students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence.
• Build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Contribute to a pleasant working environment at the school that promotes learning and development during students' school days.
• Mentorship for the class.

Stensholm School is located in the scenic areas of Huskvarna Heights. The school includes preschool class, grades 1-6, and three after-school care departments. Currently, about 360 students attend the school, and over 45 employees work here. We continuously strive to ensure that our students develop academically, reaching as far as possible based on their own conditions and abilities.

Your Qualifications: You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades 4-6, alternatively a candidate who has not yet received their teaching license or is in the final stages of their education.

You are a confident and skilled teacher who uses the curriculum as a natural tool in everyday life and who readily takes on the many tasks that the teaching profession entails. In the team, you are a team player who sees the value of collaborating, sharing ideas, and building teaching together – always with the students' best interests in focus. With clear and warm leadership, you create teaching that both engages and develops, meeting each student where they are to strengthen both knowledge and self-esteem.

You easily build trusting relationships, and your inclusive approach ensures that all students feel seen and involved. With you, students have the opportunity to succeed – both as individuals and as a group. It is also advantageous if you have qualifications or experience in teaching English.

The position is a temporary contract for the spring term until 2026-06-18.
