If you wish to work in a modern and pleasant work environment where your work can make a significant difference, then the central special education group is for you. It is located in a secluded part of Trollehöjd School with plenty of space for a good and adapted operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our new and important initiative, you will have the opportunity to help shape and develop the operation from the ground up. You will work with students on the autism spectrum aged 10-15 years, in groups of no more than 8 students.

You will plan and follow up on teaching at the individual level with clear setups and various forms of support structures as a natural part of the work. We value collaboration, and you will regularly exchange ideas with the EHT staff from the students' home schools as well as colleagues in central administration. Together with an engaged and experienced colleague, you will work full-time to create a safe and developing learning environment.

In Mullsjö, we collaborate closely with other actors in the municipality to see the whole picture around each student. The goal is for students to gradually return to their regular class, and placements are continuously evaluated to ensure the best possible support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have experience working in a special education group and can demonstrate good results. You are solution-focused and never give up, always finding ways for students to succeed.

As a person, you are secure, trustworthy, and skilled at building relationships with both students and guardians. You can structure your work and follow established support processes while believing in each student's ability to reach their goals. You have a strong view of students and see situations and contexts as factors that can affect a student's performance.

We are looking for someone who is a special educator or special teacher, alternatively a teacher with broad subject competence, preferably with experience from middle or high school. You are secure, willing to challenge and drive processes in the operation, and ready to be the spider in the web regarding both large and small aspects of the work. Together with colleagues, you create a professional team where every employee is important.
