Your New Job

Sanda Middle School is a grades 7-9 school. We are looking for a trained Career Counselor to start in the fall term of 2026. As an employee at Sanda Middle School, it is an advantage if you have an interest in sports, as a large part of the students are admitted through a sports profile.

A fundamental aspect of the work is to always strive to create good relationships with students and guardians. You contribute to a good learning environment through collegial collaboration. You will also cooperate with other staff at the school. You are keen to stay updated in your role through environmental monitoring, further education, and collegial learning. You need to have good skills in working with digital tools.

The position also includes some work with a high school program at Sandagymnasiet.

Welcome to Us

Sanda Education Center in Huskvarna consists of four different school forms; high school, adapted high school, adapted primary school, and middle school. At Sanda Education Center, over 1400 students study. Between these four school forms, we have a close collaboration regarding staff, facilities, and joint activities. The middle school at Sanda has had a clear focus on sports since its inception over 10 years ago and will continue to do so as we grow.

Currently, we have about 80 students per grade, all of whom have applied and been admitted through tests in their special sport. From grade 7 HT25, we will admit approximately 100 students from a catchment area and 100 students through admission in special sports. Health and sports are part of our DNA, and we care about sustainable health for both students and staff.

Your Competence

You are a trained Career Counselor with a good ability to handle digital systems, and you have the ability to work independently and identify needs and solutions.

Good to Know

The position is a permanent employment. Start date is 2026-08-03 or another date by agreement.
