Your new job

As a teacher in the middle school, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching together with your closest colleagues. This includes designing the teaching so that all students can participate based on their conditions and are given the opportunity to develop and learn.

At Fagerslätt School, there are currently 320 students from preschool class to grade 6. Here you will find experienced and qualified colleagues both in primary school and in after-school care. Your role includes building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You will be part of a work team where you are expected to contribute to the overall development of the school. Fagerslätt School is a newly built F-6 school located on the heights of Huskvarna. At Fagerslätt School, all staff together create a holistic view of the student's day. We have a shared responsibility for our students in the Fagerslätt School area. In the local environment, we have good access to forest and land that we can utilize in teaching, play, and recreation.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades 4-6, with broad subject competence. You have the qualification to teach Swedish and a good understanding of the primary school's mission and its governing documents. We see that you have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as basic IT skills that support your teaching.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience of teaching and working as a class teacher in middle school. We prefer that you have qualifications and experience in teaching Swedish. As a person, you are stable and secure in your professional role, with the ability to build good relationships. You have clear and engaging leadership, are structured in your work approach, and have good pedagogical insight. Furthermore, you have a holistic view of students' development and learning, where you see each individual's needs in a larger context.
