JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Music Teacher F6

As a music teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students in grades F6. The role includes:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and the school's local governing documents.
• Creating a joyful, inclusive, and safe learning environment where students can develop their musical abilities through singing, playing, rhythm, movement, and creation.
• Working with fundamental musical knowledge such as ear training, music creation, ensemble playing, and digital tools in music.
• Being responsible for assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development and providing feedback to students and guardians.
• If necessary, planning and conducting performances, traditions, or musical elements in collaboration with other staff.
• Collaborating with colleagues to create continuity and progression in students' learning.

Part of the Position in a Special Education Group

In the special education group, you will work together with other staff to provide students in need of special support with an adapted, safe, and structured school day. The role includes:

• Supporting students who need a calmer learning environment, clearer structure, or individually adapted teaching.
• Implementing extra adaptations and special support in close collaboration with special educators, class teachers, and the student health team.
• Working both one-on-one and in smaller groups, focusing on social training, study environment, motivation, and knowledge development.
• Contributing to preventive and promoting work, for example by creating predictability, strengthening relationships, and developing students' strategies for success in school life.
• Participating in planning and follow-up regarding students' learning and well-being, as well as assisting in documentation related to support measures.
• Maintaining a close and respectful collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
