Your new job

Sanda Middle School is a school for grades 7-9. We are looking for teachers with qualifications in at least two subjects for the start of the autumn term 2026. As the school grows, we need to recruit 8-10 teaching positions with various qualifications.

You are aware of the importance of adapting teaching to the needs and conditions of all students and want to take responsibility for both your teaching and common issues at the school. A fundamental starting point in your work is to always strive to create good relationships with the students.

You will be part of a working team and participate in the team's joint work. You contribute to a good learning environment through collegial collaboration. You also collaborate with other staff at the school.

You are keen to stay updated as a teacher and in your subject through environmental monitoring, further education, and collegial learning. Mentorship is a central part of your role through social contacts with students and classes, communication with guardians, absence management, and development talks, as well as collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you will collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Welcome to us

Sanda Education Center in Huskvarna consists of four different school forms; high school, adapted high school, adapted primary school, and middle school. Over 1400 students study at Sanda Education Center. We have close cooperation regarding staff, premises, and joint activities between these four school forms.

The middle school at Sanda has a clear focus on sports – something that has characterized our operations since its inception over ten years ago and continues to do so as we grow. Since the autumn term of 2025, we will admit approximately 100 students from our catchment area and an additional 100 students through admission in special sports. Health and sports are part of our DNA, and we care about sustainable health for both students and staff.

Your qualifications

You are an educated and licensed teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in at least two subjects based on the needs of the operations.

As a teacher at Sanda Middle School, it is an advantage if you have an interest in sports, as a large part of the students are admitted through a sports profile. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You are skilled at communicating with guardians, students, and staff at the school.

The position is a permanent employment. Start date is 2026-08-07 or another date by agreement.
