Folkuniversitetet runs SFI on behalf of Jönköping Municipality. The program includes education in SFI study paths 1-3 during daytime and evening hours in our own facilities. Additionally, we provide teaching in the Employment Department and at open preschools. We have a continued good influx of students and are therefore looking for an SFI teacher to join our teaching staff.

Teaching certification in SFI.

You have a good understanding of adult learning. Both the student's study plan and career plan help you maintain direction in your planning. By integrating everyday life, society, work, and further studies as a common thread in all parts of the teaching, you create engagement and interest in the development of both language and knowledge. You complement traditional teaching materials with authentic resources. Your pedagogical work with digital tools is a strength, and you use them thoughtfully to ensure they become actual learning resources. Problem-solving and creativity often come naturally to you. You do not hesitate to contact actors outside the school to ensure that SFI genuinely contributes to increased inclusion through study visits and role models.

You will be part of a mission-driven organization and a teaching staff with deep knowledge and genuine interest in SFI. The position is permanent and begins with a probationary period.
