Your new job

We are now looking for someone who wants to develop students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence, as well as prepare them for life and the future. Through knowledge and creativity, you inspire your students to a joyful learning experience, to take responsibility, and to develop. We are looking for a new colleague for the team at Ödestugu School. A small cozy village school in the countryside where teaching occurs in b-form, meaning the teaching in the position takes place in grades 3-4 and 5-6. There are only about 15 students in each group. In the team, there are experienced colleagues. Together with the team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing the teaching in a way that is based on a holistic view of the student and the student's needs, in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents.

The Tenhult school area consists of two F-6 schools: Tenhult School and Ödestugu School. We are a large school area with about 80 staff and 560 students. Ödestugu School is located about 28 km from the center of Jönköping. Geographically, we are situated in the southeastern part of the municipality, bordering both Vaggeryd and Nässjö municipalities.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a degree and teaching certification for grades 4-6. You have qualifications in mathematics, science, and English. If you have not yet received your certification, you are still welcome to apply. You are a good leader in the classroom. You also find it easy to collaborate with other educators in the school and you are flexible. You have good skills regarding IT and digital tools. We place great importance on personal suitability.
