Your New Job

We are looking for a new colleague for our after-school program. Together with wonderful students and helpful colleagues, you will have a varied and exciting job! At Taberg School, safety work is an important part of our preventive and promotional efforts, and all staff at the school share this responsibility. Collaboration and language-developing methods are also prioritized.

As an after-school teacher, you will be responsible for the educational work in the after-school program and create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for the students. You will plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on the curriculum goals and the primary school's governing documents, focusing on providing students with opportunities to learn in creative ways and apply their knowledge in practice. With a holistic perspective on students' development and learning, you will work to ensure that the after-school program is a valuable complement to the school day. You will promote students' social development, strengthen their self-esteem, and build trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.

Welcome to Us

Taberg School is located south of Jönköping, and there is much beautiful nature in the school's vicinity. We are close to both forests, water, meadows, and of course, the mountain. Approximately 250 students attend the school, and the staff consists of around 35 people. Taberg School has a Nature and Culture profile, which means we use the local area in our teaching. We often say that Taberg School is the small school with the big heart. Here, we help each other, develop, and have fun together!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with a teaching license for work in the after-school program, or who is nearing the end of their education and has not yet obtained their license. You have a good understanding of the primary school's mission and its governing documents, and it is an advantage if you also have the qualifications to teach art. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have basic IT skills that support your educational work. Personal suitability is highly valued.
