At Kärnekullaskolan, we are now looking for an inspiring and dedicated teacher who wants to help build something unique! Our school, which opened in the autumn of 2023, is growing, and we now need to strengthen our team. Here, you will have the chance to help shape a safe, creative, and educational environment for our 290 students in grades F-6.

Our modern facilities are bright and spacious, with specially equipped classrooms for handicrafts, art, music, and home economics, as well as a school library. Just a stone's throw away, you will find our school forest that invites both play and learning. We also have a newly built sports hall, Habo Arena, nearby, and two fantastic rooftop terraces where you can glimpse Lake Vättern – simply an inspiring place for both students and teachers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work together with a team where you collectively collaborate and are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching within the grade levels, focusing on grades 4-6 Swedish/Social Studies. Together with your colleagues, you will drive pedagogical development for the students. Mentorship is included in the position.

Additionally, the work involves continuing to contribute to making Kärnekulla a place where every student wants to be, thrive, and develop to reach their full potential.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher who has a positive outlook and believes in the goodness of people. Understanding the value of relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues is likely your greatest attribute. Furthermore, you are a skilled and engaged teacher ready for new challenges.
