We are growing in line with the development of the municipality, with more residents, more housing, and a larger range of services. We are always on the lookout for new competencies - employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences, united by the common drive to create a better municipality to visit, live, work, and reside in.

Do you want to take part in one of the school's most important missions - to create the learning of the future? We are opening a new school in Jönköping Municipality and are now looking for a lead teacher in general didactics.

Together we create a school where students' curiosity, teachers' professionalism, and the joy of learning permeate every day. Welcome to a school where your skills make a difference every day!

Your New Job

As a lead teacher, you will be one of the key persons in our team. You will have a unique opportunity to shape a school from the construction phase to operation and ongoing development.

Your role also includes being a team leader and being part of the school's management group, where the focus will be on school development issues and systematic quality work.

The role involves close collaboration with the principal and the rest of the management group, where you contribute to planning, follow-up, and quality work. You will be a driving force in building structures and processes from the ground up.

You primarily work with teaching and tasks related to teaching. You initiate and drive projects aimed at developing teaching, and you are a good role model for the team in everyday pedagogical work. Your professional role is characterized by very secure and good leadership in the classroom. You embody a relational and salutogenic perspective based on all parts of the assignment. You work systematically to plan, implement, follow up, analyze, and thereby improve teaching and develop the operations. You will drive collegial collaboration and, when necessary, mentor colleagues.

The assignment as a lead teacher is a three-year appointment, where you also have a permanent position as a teacher at Djupadal School.

We offer a unique opportunity to be part of shaping a completely new school from the ground up, where your ideas and skills can truly influence the direction forward. With us, you will encounter a creative and future-oriented work environment where development, curiosity, and innovative thinking are encouraged. You will also be part of a close and engaged collaboration with a management team that is passionate about creating the best conditions for both students and employees.
