One of the operations within Höglandsförbundet is Höglandsgymnasiet. Höglandsgymnasiet has schools in Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. We have about 550 employees working to ensure that our approximately 3000 students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future in the workforce or for further studies.

Your new job

As a teacher in Spanish and another subject, you will have the chance to teach at the high school level at Njudungsgymnasiet, where you plan and conduct lessons, as well as drive and develop the program you belong to together with engaged colleagues. You will also participate in the subject team to further develop subject teaching.

As a teaching teacher with us, you have a strong interest in motivating and engaging students. You work to create the best possible conditions for students to achieve their goals. You have a good ability to build trust and good relationships in varied teaching. In the role of subject teacher, your responsibilities include teaching, mentoring, planning, grading, information meetings, etc.

About you

We are looking for a teacher with qualifications in Spanish and another subject. Collaboration and co-planning occur continuously with colleagues, work teams, and the entire school, as we strive to achieve a holistic view of students' knowledge development and needs. Meeting each student from a relational perspective and having high, reasonable expectations for each individual are fundamental thoughts that are important to us. To fit as a teacher with us, we want you to have a good didactic ability and can motivate and engage.

In your personality, you are solution-focused, cooperative, value quality, and can create a positive atmosphere at work, both as an educator and as a colleague in your subject and program team. You are also secure, stable, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

The position is offered full-time or part-time depending on your qualifications.

To ensure that all new employees in our teaching positions have the right qualifications, we ask you to attach a valid teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education that is no older than two months.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement, in accordance with the Education Act, that you present an extract from the criminal record for work within the school. This extract is requested on the police's website.

If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to verify your citizenship. You do this by presenting a valid passport or a personal certificate along with a valid ID. A personal certificate can, if you are a Swedish citizen, be downloaded from the Tax Agency under my pages. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you must also be able to present a valid residence and/or work permit to work in Sweden. Employment can only occur after the work permit has been verified, in accordance with the Aliens Ordinance.
