We are a school with just over 130 students from preschool to grade 6, beautifully located near nature in the small community of Burseryd.

The school is part of the Sydväst school area along with Klockargårdskolan in Broaryd.

You will work with several educators to be responsible for teaching in grades F-3 while being part of a team that collectively leads and develops the educational work towards our goals for students in the lower grades. The idea is that you will follow a class during the lower grades to create a safe school experience for them.

You will use modern technology in your work with students, as we in Gislaveds municipality have tablets as a natural part of the educational process. We strive to work with cooperative learning (CL), which is a way to motivate, engage, and activate students.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility consists of teaching in our preschool class with 25 students during the spring term of 2026, together with another educator. A smaller portion of teaching may be assigned to another class in the school.

In addition, there will be additional tasks as we all help to solve the work assignments that exist in our organization within the school area.

The position will be adapted in the future based on the needs of the school and students, as well as your qualifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher for the earlier years.

You see all students and their differences as an asset and have a good ability to develop sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible, solution-focused, and thrive in a collaborative learning environment. You have knowledge of students with various disabilities so that you can meet all students according to their needs.

We seek someone who is proactive in promoting, preventing, and addressing issues related to students' learning and development.

Your role as an employee is closely linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in your own and the organization's development. Permanent employment can only be considered if a teaching license can be presented.
