About the organization

Area 3, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, has about 1800 employees within the following areas; Orthopedics, AnOpIVA, Ophthalmology, Hand Surgery, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Rheumatology.

The area provides outpatient and inpatient care, national highly specialized care, regional hospital care, and county hospital care. Extensive research and education are conducted within all areas of the organization.

Your future role

We are looking for engaged business developers who want to drive the development work of the area and its operations.

As a business developer, you will work as a generalist and also specialize in production and care processes. Your tasks include driving improvement work towards established goals, implementing, coordinating, and following up on development within production and care processes.

You will work closely with the development manager, operational manager, and other business developers. As a business developer, you will be part of the area's development team. You will also be involved in the hospital-wide working group for care processes and production.

As a business developer specializing in production and care processes, you will report directly to the operational manager. You will be part of an operational group in the area together with quality coordinators, business developers, Elvis/Orbit coordinators, planning leaders, and safety coordinators.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a relevant university or college education and experience in business development. You have good digital skills, the ability to express yourself clearly in both speech and writing, and experience working in healthcare.

Desirable qualifications for the position include experience and knowledge in:

• Production planning
• Inpatient and outpatient processes
• Improvement work or equivalent
• Process work

You have a holistic perspective and can translate goals and visions into concrete actions. You have the ability to drive and develop operations from a patient perspective while engaging employees in continuous improvements. You have good collaboration skills and are confident in your role as a business developer. You can also work independently, are proactive, and innovative.
