We are now looking for a Receptionist/Server at Scandic Mölndal.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web who ensures that the guest is always in focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work, and sales tasks.

The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

You will also work partly in our restaurant where you are the first person the guest meets, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have an interest in food and drink and like order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to give our guests a fantastic dining experience. Your tasks will include serving food and drinks and being responsible for your own cash register. Experience from restaurant work is considered an asset.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have a well-developed social ability and can handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an asset.

However, the most important are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
