Your Responsibilities
You will work independently but also collaboratively in a team to ensure the administrative work runs smoothly. Service is a significant part of your daily tasks, both internally and externally. You will work alongside case officers and, to some extent, prosecutors, assisting them with various administrative matters.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- providing administrative support, e.g., working in the criminal case registry, handling archiving, and performing general office tasks
- checking and registering incoming cases
- being the outward contact in various contexts, thereby providing good service to both the public and other authorities – primarily via phone and email.
Your day-to-day work is event-driven, and urgent matters may arise that require you to shift focus and prioritize among your tasks.
Your Qualities and Qualifications
We welcome applications from students in the law program. By the time you start as a summer intern, you should have completed studies in criminal law and procedural law.
We are looking for someone who:
- is meticulous, structured, and can follow existing guidelines and procedures
- is unpretentious
- has high integrity
- is independent and takes responsibility for your tasks
- finds it easy to collaborate, build good working relationships, and has an open attitude towards your surroundings
- has good communication skills
- is interested in criminal law and procedural law.
It is advantageous if you have experience in criminal cases through studies, internships, or work.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
About the Employment
The position is a special fixed-term employment for approximately three months during the summer.
The position is located at one of Stockholm's public prosecutor's offices: City Prosecutor's Office, Northern Prosecutor's Office, Southern Prosecutor's Office, or Western Prosecutor's Office. If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to express your preference for which office you would like to be placed in if hired.

Interviews are expected to be conducted during weeks 6-8.
Before an offer of employment, the Prosecutor's Office may conduct a background check in the suspect register and criminal record. The background check is conducted on the final candidate.
