JOB DESCRIPTION

We have just opened a new preschool in Duved and are now looking for engaged preschool teachers.

Lillskogens Preschool is centrally located in the village of Duved and is an eight-unit preschool with space for approximately 140 children. We have chosen to organize the preschool into four twin units, where each twin works as a large work team and divides into smaller groups during the day. To promote collaboration and development between the twins, we will work with various functions, such as atelier pedagogues, literacy pedagogues, and outdoor pedagogues. We place great emphasis on collaboration and want to create a robust organization that is solution-focused and always has the child's best interests at heart.

Our ambition is for the preschool to be a place that both children and adults long for. We value that you have clear and secure self-leadership and that you take responsibility for leading education and teaching in the children's group together with your colleagues throughout the day. The preschools in Duved have also taken a stand for a project-based working method where our offerings and meeting places are connected in processes. We adults listen to what the children express and their interests, and together with them build meaningful content based on the curriculum's values, assignments, goals, and guidelines. We use curiosity questions/deepening questions to create a thread in what we offer the children throughout the day.

You will have both individual and joint time for systematic quality work, and together with your work team, you will lead planning, documentation, reflection, and analyze and follow up on your joint work. Your tasks also include actively participating in workplace meetings, area meetings, and meetings with guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a licensed preschool teacher or have applied for a license as a preschool teacher.

As a person, you work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you have started, and meet deadlines. You take the initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal. You stay up-to-date in your profession and area of expertise and keep an eye on trends.

OTHER

The position is vacant provided that there is no redundancy, need for reassignment, or priority in the municipality. A criminal record extract must be submitted before the position can be assumed.
