Änge School is a F-9 school with about 250 students, and Kaxås is a F-6 school with about 45 students. As a special educator, you will work closely with principals, educators, and the student health team, focusing on ensuring that students receive the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development.

The Department of Education and Childcare has about 800 employees. The department's activities span the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food services, cleaning, mother tongue, and library services.

A day as a special educator at Änge and Kaxås schools

School development is a significant part of the school's collective work to achieve the set goals. You will be an essential part of our student health team, which consists of a counselor, developmental educator, school nurse, study and career counselor, school psychologist, and principals.

Your qualifications

You are a trained special educator with competence and experience from school activities.

You are a team player and see collaboration as a given to succeed in your mission. You have a strong commitment and take significant responsibility for student health work and preventive and promotional efforts. You have the ability to create good relationships and communicate clearly with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You are self-sufficient and capable of conducting your work independently. You contribute to collegial learning with colleagues across all subjects by promoting a positive and solution-focused work climate within the teams.

Krokom Municipality is making a special effort related to particularly hard-to-recruit professions in certain geographical areas. Both Änge and Kaxås schools are part of this effort. Therefore, a salary supplement of 3000 SEK/month for full-time work will be provided for certified teachers hired for this position.
