Änge School is a F-9 school with approximately 250 students. We work closely together to create holistic solutions for the students. The work is based on the student's opportunity for development and learning throughout the day.

The Department of Education and Childcare has about 800 employees. The department's activities extend across the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food and cleaning services, mother tongue education, and library services.

A day as a teacher at Änge School

As a preschool teacher, you contribute to stimulating and challenging the students' curiosity, development, and learning. In the role of preschool teacher, you lead the educational work in accordance with the school's governing documents for preschool class.

You are responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, following up, and documenting the students' knowledge development.

You actively work to maintain a good collaboration with both students and guardians.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher.

You can collaborate, build relationships, solve problems, and have clear leadership, which we see as important qualities.

You are solution-focused and have a good ability to collaborate with others. You are good at listening, showing empathy and respect. You are unpretentious and acknowledge and reward others' contributions. You are engaged in the students' learning and have the ability to support and challenge based on the student's needs.

Experience working in preschool class is an advantage.

We place great importance on personal qualities.

Upon employment, an extract from the criminal record will be requested.

Part-time 80% Monday to Thursday.
