Hallens Kyrkskola is a K-9 school with 150 students where the atmosphere is good between students and staff. Our school overlooks Storsjö. We have access to an indoor swimming pool, a small sports hall, beautiful nature with ice skating and cross-country skiing tracks nearby, and we are only 20 km from Bydalsfjällen. Hallen is located between Åre and Östersund, it is 40 km to Östersund by ice road/ferry and 60 km to Åre.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a teacher, you will work with the team to ensure the quality of the educational work and participate in development work together with other teachers. The job includes overall responsibility for the students' social and academic development. You will be responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' learning.

The work includes, in addition to the usual tasks such as planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of teaching and goal fulfillment, also regular contact with guardians and students for feedback on knowledge development and the student's social skills and context.

Good results, high competence among the staff, and high expectations of the operations characterize our school.

In addition to the craft subject, the role also includes being a school host in the upper grades and working at the after-school center.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 3-9 with subject competence in wood and metal crafts and/or textile crafts.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience teaching both wood and metal crafts and textile crafts.

As a person, we see that you are proactive, have a high level of personal maturity, and good collaboration skills. You easily create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and have a sense of responsibility for teaching. You work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines.

You need to be flexible, creative, and have a great deal of professional patience. You have a stable and secure personality and a low-arousal approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is vacant provided that there is no surplus, need for reassignment, or priority in the municipality. A criminal record extract must be presented before employment begins.
