We are now looking for a licensed preschool teacher for Bygdegården's preschool in Trångsviken. In 2025, the preschool area underwent an HBTQI certification, which means increased knowledge and an initiated process towards a more inclusive environment. The goal of the certification is a clear structure for work on inclusion and diversity and a signal to the outside world that we take human rights and everyone's equal value seriously. The Department of Children and Education has about 800 employees. The department's activities extend across the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food and cleaning services, mother tongue education, and library services.

A Day as a Preschool Teacher at Bygdegården's Preschool

Bygdegården's preschool has two departments with age-divided groups and close collaboration. The work is based on a holistic view of children and their needs, where care, development, and learning form a whole. The preschool belongs to the Näldenområdet and collaborates with Droppens preschool in Ytterån and Faxgärdets preschool in Nälden.

In our municipality, you start from the children's interests, needs, and experiences.

You plan the learning processes and, with a formative approach, implement, follow up, and evaluate your teaching, anchored in the curriculum.

The children's learning is made visible through digital pedagogical documentation, using iPads as working tools.

In addition to systematic quality work, preventive and promoting child health work is conducted in collaboration with our child health teams.

The units in Krokom municipality have a common systematic work environment effort based on the municipality's core values: Welcoming, Courageous, Close, and Reliable.

All preschools in Krokom municipality work with five common operational goals based on national goals.

You need to be didactically skilled and place great importance on planning and implementing the content of teaching to support children's development of subject knowledge and various abilities in an inspiring way.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. You are well acquainted with the national governing documents for preschool activities. If you have training in a norm-critical and inclusive approach, it is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You should contribute to a good work environment and be a positive and secure leader who meets others with respect and shares your positive energy.

In your role as a preschool teacher, you, together with others in the work team, are responsible for planning and conducting the activities and meeting the needs of each individual child. Documentation is an important part of our daily reflections and also in the systematic quality work that moves the activities forward and makes learning visible.

In the work as a preschool teacher in our area, it is important to be attentive, communicative, and solution-oriented. We work with inclusion, participation, and accessibility as core ideas.
