Odensalaskolan is looking for substitute teachers

Odensalaskolan is Östersund's largest primary school with over 600 students from grades F-9. The school is newly built, and the last students moved in as recently as autumn 2024. An important focus for us is to collaboratively develop a common school culture characterized by cooperation, engagement, and putting the best interests of the students at the center. Our goal is to work together with guardians and students to create a good environment with a high level of knowledge and great social competence, providing our students with the best conditions to succeed in life. Your new job

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute teacher in our organization.

You will be responsible for conducting planned lessons and follow-up work.

In addition to teaching subjects, the focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others while supporting them in their social and academic development.

We may need substitutes from preschool to grade 9, in all subjects. Your tasks will be based on our needs as well as your suitability and interests.

Common tasks

• Conduct teaching according to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the teaching team.
• Some documentation in the operational system.
• Create a good learning environment.

Your qualifications

• You have previous experience in educational work, either from employment or voluntary work.
• You have good knowledge in some or all primary school subjects.
• You have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You are computer literate.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience in schools.
