Funäsdalen Preschool

Funäsdalen Preschool is a preschool with 4 departments. Härjedalen Municipality is a Sami administrative area; therefore, the preschool works with Sami integration. The preschool is located near forests, mountains, and ski trails. We are constantly working on the development and quality assurance of the preschool, known as systematic quality work.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a preschool teacher are to work in accordance with the preschool curriculum LpFö2018. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and documenting the activities, as well as implementing the educational activities for children aged 1-5 years together with the team. Funäsdalen Preschool uses pedagogical documentation as a tool to achieve the goals in the curriculum.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified preschool teacher or has good experience in the profession. You should be accustomed to taking personal responsibility and being a good role model, being attentive to children's expressions of will. You should be a present educator who finds it easy to collaborate with different people and always focus on your mission with the children. Good language skills in Sami are an advantage. The role also involves being a good role model for children and colleagues and having a good understanding of the equal value of all people - what we call a trusting approach. For this position, presenting a police record extract is a prerequisite for employment.
