Job Advertisement: Special Educator for Fåker and Ångsta Schools

Fåker School is an F-6 school with about 60 students, currently during the spring term it is an F-3 school with about 40 students. Ångsta School is an F-6 school with about 80 students. Both schools have mixed-age classes and have good access to an inspiring outdoor environment. Our schools are an inspiring workplace where we focus on the student. Everyone should feel involved, responsible, respected, and safe. At Fåker and Ångsta Schools, we have a positive view of students and high expectations. We have a language-developing approach in all activities and take our roles as adult role models seriously. Collegial learning is central for everyone at the school; we learn from and with each other to develop the operations at each school but also together. Our goal is to work together with parents and students to create a good operation with a high level of knowledge and great social competence that gives our students the best conditions to succeed in life. Your New Job

Your tasks include mapping students, guiding educators based on the needs present in the different classes. During the spring term, the schools have a part-time special teacher, and we need special educational competence at 40-50% during the spring. Before the autumn term, there may be a possibility for extension and increased hours.

Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.

  • Mapping students
  • Investigation for special support
  • Writing decisions on special support
  • Evaluating and following up students with special support
  • Guiding educators/educator groups if needed.
  • Support in analysis work together with the educators.

Your Competence

Requirements

  • Special educational competence

Meritorious

  • Special educational degree
  • Experience in primary school
